Deborah Gordon Wins National Kitchen & Bath Association “Best Powder Room” Award.
Carmel Valley Interior Designer’s award marks fifth award in six years.
San Diego Interior Designer Award
San Diego, CA, September 14, 2016 – Award Winning Interior Designer Deborah Gordon, of Deborah Gordon Designs, won the 2016 Star Design Awards for Best Powder Room. The award was presented to her at the Annual Gala Awards Banquet for the National Kitchen & Bath Industry Awards on September 13, 2016 at the San Diego chapter meeting. Deborah previously won the award in 2015 for a Kitchen design, in 2013 for a great room design, in 2012 for a Carmel Valley Kitchen and in 2011 for a Mission Hills bathroom design.
Deborah worked with the homeowners to redesign their entire home. Her client’s love of bold colors was the impetus in creating the powder room with a punch of color. Deborah took advantage of the small space and focused the color on the floor, creating custom concrete tiles in vivid colors and shapes. The bright colors also speak to the colors in the antique wood carving that is displayed on the wall to the right of the vanity. “It’s fun to create spaces that are unexpected and speak to the homeowner’s personality,” said Deborah.
The project will be featured in the November 2016 issue of San Diego Home & Garden Lifestyle Magazine.
